If you are a publisher or author interested in having me review your book, please get in contact via email and I’ll get back to you as quickly as possible. My email address is:
*Please note that I am NOT accepting requests at this time*
My main focus in 2018 is to review all of my backlogged titles in my TBR. I’m working on a month by month basis and will re-evaluate at the end of the year. I can sometimes take a month or two to respond to unsolicited emails so please bare that in mind if you are an author seeking a review. Having said that, it will always be a polite rejection as I am still not open to unsolicited requests of any kind. I receive dozens of emails every other day despite this page on my blog explicitly stating that I am not open to requests.
I read almost any genre for any age group but here is a list of things that I do NOT review:
- picture books
- short story collections
To keep myself in line with the new data protection laws, I just wanted to make all my readers/followers aware of the following changes that will be happening on the blog:
- I will be removing email follow options so that I do not have access to anyone’s email address through follower functions (I believe there are only 2 people currently and I do apologise for the inconvenience this may cause)
- I will no longer be holding giveaways. I haven’t for a while and I don’t see myself doing it anytime soon. It’s expensive on my part and the added GDPR rules on personal information makes it even less worth my time, unfortunately.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to let you know that I do not and will not store emails from people who send a request to me (unless it is in regards to a blog tour). I will delete any emails I receive immediately after responding unless there is information contained within that I will need to retain until a future date.
I’m not 100% sure if the GDPR really relates to book blogs that aren’t businesses (I do this for fun!) but I figured I’d do my best to keep myself right.
